2010 Workshop Schedule January 23 -Demo and workshop for the Santa Fe Book Arts Group members. Class is 1-4 at the Santa Fe Community College. Please contact Lynn Roberts for information jlynnroberts@comcast.net April 10-11 Santa Fe Studio- 2 day workshop on Mixed Media-Textures, Layers and Transfers . This class is limited to 8 people, so register early. We will cover several texture techniques that will be in my new book. There are still a few spots left but it is filling up fast. It is $250 and includes supplies. I will be hosting a virtual show for workshop participants on my blog later in the year. Keep working and I'll send information on submitting images. Added April 13-14 a continuation of the 11-12 workshop. NEW! June18-19 Santa Fe Studio-2 day workshop that will show you how to add some bling to your work. We will cover working with metal leaf, including painting and innovative adhesives. Patinas will bring new life to objects and backgrounds and you will discover the beauty and mystery of iridescent and interference paints. We will also work with some new material to achieve a "reaction technique". This will be a lot of new information, so don't miss it. Cost is $270 plus tax and includes supplies. Four spaces left! August 18-19 Santa Fe Studio-a mid week collage workshop. This workshop will cover creating faux encaustic paintings, using acrylic mediums, working with patinas, metallics, pigments, transfers, fabrics and other unusual materials. Cost is $250 plus tax and includes supplies. Nov 6-7 Santa Fe Studio- Learn exciting new techniques to make your work shimmer. We will work with metal leaf, patinas, pastes and pigments to add depth and luster to your work. Creating color innovations will also be covered in this workshop. I have been playing with some new products that I am looking forward to sharing with you. Cost is $270 plus tax and includes supplies. Four spaces left.
