I made this painting for the cover of Cloth Paper Scissors magazine
July/August issue. I have an article in the magazine on creating art
using materials from the hardware store. The painting was lost by UPS
and I am hoping to get reimbursed. I was saving it for a later
newsletter, but since it won't be appearing on the cover, I have it
here. Hold some good thoughts that they come through with honorable
results. See if you can guess what materials I have used and then check
your guesses against the article.

Here is a peak at one of the chapters that will be in my upcoming book,
Awakening Your Creative Soul. The book is based on the cycles of the
Earth and the Seasons. There are weekly exercises to create using
visual, writing, meditation and movement exercises. Next month I will
show you the cover and introduce some more of the ideas that the book
embraces.

Commissions Welcomed
I wanted to show these paintings that a collector in FL has in her home
because I am accepting commissions for totems. They can be made to hang
vertical or horizontal and whatever size you desire. The long
horizontals look great over a bed and these vertical ones can go just
about anywhere. So contact me to commission yours.
