Time Stands Still side

This painting, Time Stands Still, just found a new home and I have made a new friend. Time is one of my favorite subjects to paint, and the person that saw the painting hanging in the venue fell in love with it. She went home and wrote a poem about it.

Exhale

In the midst

of

NOW

Infinity

unfurls each petal,

each moment,

each mournful cry,

and each drop

of seasoned rain.

The universal

EXPANSE

becomes

one breath,

one note,

One

Infinitesimal

event horizon,

and

One

Holy

NOW

I love the poem and it captures the essence of the painting. We were able to connect and get to know each other, which is always a bonus. Many times I never meet the people who collect my art from galleries. But that isn't the end of the story. The very next day, a gallery director wanted this same painting for an exhibition in Lecce, Italy. Wild how these connections happen. I am creating a new painting based on the theme of weaving time to send for the show in May. I will let you know more. Check out the newest work below.

These are two new pieces created for an exhibition in Venice next moth, called Celestial. I will post more info about the show in the March newsletter. I wanted to give you all a preview of the work. There is one other piece that I have been sharing on social as I created it. The galaxy supports me, this is my daily mantra. Thanks for reading.
