September mornings in New Mexico's high mountains always carry the first hint of autumn. Chile is roasting, apples are ripe, and summer's bounty is ready to harvest. After six weeks of travel, I'm grateful to be home and back in the studio, ready to share what's ahead. Following my final artist retreat in Ireland, we traveled through the UK, where I fell in love with Scotland. I'm still reflecting on the journey and will share more of the art that was made in Ireland in upcoming posts. With many returning artists, the retreat was both joyful and bittersweet, but the time has come for a new direction. In the months ahead, I'll introduce a new body of large-scale paintings, along with gallery placements and several new commissions.
