Thoughts Beyond Time

Crackles and collage dance with pattern and color. I love looking at this painting every day because it hangs in my home. I originally bought this large canvas at a yard sale and it had some paint on it but not much. I strapped it on top of my little car and held it with my hand as I drove it home. It lived with me for some time and then one day after reading an essay on the non-linear aspect of time, I painted this. The circles and the colors took their cue from a song I was listening to. Book pages from old math books and patterned papers form a base for the crackles and colors. You will always find something new when you look long enough. It transcends time.
