Layers of Life III

This third panel of the triptych, Layers of Life is truly a mixed media creation. There is a cast acrylic panel inserted into the wood panel. I made the imagery on the cast acrylic by shooting an image through oil and water and then did an image transfer onto the acrylic panel. Copper leaf is put onto the back of the transferred image. The panel itself is built up with textures and layers of color and crackles. This piece can be hung either vertically or horizontally, or in the grouping of three.
