Life Lines

I grew up looking through my dads' microscope and I loved to paint the cellular images I saw. This piece is a fun excursion back to those days. When you look at the tiniest things, you can see a framework that holds life together. This little gem packs in a lot of texture and depth. The background has copper particles that I have painted to look like patina. The orbs have copper particles in the crackles. Look closely, there is a lot to see.
