The Water's Edge

I paint the internal stories and emotions from a sense of place. I have always had the ability to put myself into the land, the animals and the plants. It is the ancient practice of find center and a place of power. This place is where the most western land of the continental US meets the ocean. The energy is powerful, and this painting conveys the fluidity of the water and the shifting sands of the land.
