Crossroads Again

This painting has traveled the world. I began it while teaching in Washington. I added some parts that I made in Ireland and brought it all together when I returned home to Santa Fe. I love to layer pattern and color to create implied texture. The addition of translucent and opaque papers adds more depth and then I come back with the fine finishing details. A lot of history is embedded in this painting.
