View from the Villa

I painted this piece while teaching in Tuscany. Looking over the hillside with the forest behind me is both peaceful and exhilarating. I take painters and artists to this wonderful place outside Lucca and I have a trip coming up in 2024. I will share with you how to mix acrylic paint with gels and mediums to create a luminous work on paper that is then adhered to panel and sealed in a clear acrylic finish. It is wired and ready to hang.
