Language of Oz

I love finding unusual papers and plants and materials to add to my art when I am traveling and teaching. This piece was created when I was teaching in Australian and I used papers and even a gum leave from outside the studio. The painting becomes a reminder of the experience, but it is abstract enough to allow the viewer to add their interpretation to the work.
