I am excited to announce that the May 17-24, 2025 eight day all-inclusive art retreat to the luxurious Greek island of Zakynthos is almost filled. We will be having daily painting sessions including demos along with individual guidance. I will be sharing Mixed Media techniques to add to your visual personal myth. Our studio overlooks the sea and we will even have a couple of art excursions.

Along with mixed media techniques I encourage you to explore your personal myth. I will be emailing you before the trip with some exercises to prepare for this creative exercise. It just may change your life. I know when I first did it, it changed mine.

I will help you begin with fearless backgrounds, then you will have individual guidance to work through all the phases of the painting, and it will open your eyes to embrace the next step. When you put yourself in a new and amazing location, your imagination expands.

Create abstract work or abstract a landscape. The beauty of the retreat is that you may adapt the techniques to suite your style, or to try something new. We will discover found objects to add to the art and even create unique tools found on our beach walks.

Learn how to tame the negative voices and develop a path forward to embrace the accidental discoveries. You may use your medium of choice but I will be demonstrating and painting with acrylic, inks, markers and gouache. I love to make stamping and marking tools from found objects and even bring them into the work using thread and wire.

Create art, make new friends, pamper yourself and learn something new. To me the joy of travel s opening my mind to new ideas and ways of creating. I have made new bodies of work following retreats and residencies that I have held.
