I love the changing of the seasons, especially the equinox. Autumn is my favorite season and not just because it’s my birthday, but I love the dramatic sense of endings and new beginnings. I just finished teaching the final workshop in my studio this past weekend and one of the biggest questions was how do you know when to stop? I was able to give guidance and allow the artist to see through my eyes what they couldn’t see in the moment. During the creative process you may become so close to what you hope to create that you don’t see what is right in front of you, or alternative options.
