Cast Acrylic, Resin and Wood on cast acrylic36" x 4" x 1" $900.00 USDSold
Landscape paintings take on a slice of life seen through a microscope. Getting back to my roots is about looking at slides under my dad's microscope, which I have in my studio. I was once asked why I painted long narrow compositions and I realized that it is a throwback to these slides. This piece is painted in multiple layers on cast acrylic and the layers are fused together with resin. This is like a slice of nature from the roots to the branches of the tree.
