The Lights of Tassie

I recently traveled to Tasmania for the first time, and I fell in love with the land. I was hoping to see the Aurora Australia but no luck, so I imagined them and then painted them. The land is both lush and harsh being close to the south pole. This piece incorporates many textures and layers, like the land it represents.
