The Long View

If you have ever done a road trip across the western part of the US, you may recognize this view. It is a culmination of many of my favorite places around New Mexico. I recently installed a similar piece in the state collection in Las Cruces, NM and this piece was waiting to be born. I love how some pieces are created effortlessly, like they had simply been waiting for me to allow them to emerge. There is incredible depth in this painting and the colors are amazing in person.
