Fire and Water

Inspiration from nature and materials guided me in this painting. Opposing Earth elements harmonize within this mixed media canvas. Fire and water are depicted with painted fabrics woven with gold leaf. Red peeks through the turquoise weaving and the deep textures glimmer like water. The artwork can be displayed vertically or horizontally, and pairs with its companion piece, Earth and Sky.
